Winchester State Park
The Winchester state park is over 400 acres of beautiful forest in northern Idaho. This park is open year round for day use, but the 46 serviced sites (electric and water hookups) are closed to campers starting in October. The remaining 22 standard campsites do remain open through the winter, however the dump station, flush toilets, and showers are also closed during this time. Winchester Lake provides outstanding rainbow trout fishing, however gas powered engines are not permitted on the lake so bring your paddle.
