Early Company History
After the early success of our first lightweight pop-up tent trailers, we quickly outgrew our original production facility in Savage, Minnesota and relocated to a larger manufacturing facility in Colon, Michigan. Our first main production building was destroyed in 1992 by a fire, but that didn’t slow down the demand for our travel trailers. In 2002 our parent company Vanguard was acquired by Forest River RVs, which led to an increase in brand exposure and a hike in sales. It was a great new partnership that enabled us to meet the steadily increasing demand for our lightweight travel trailers.
